Privacy Policy
Sitepal ("we", "us") is an AI website concierge service operated by Recast Designs, Amman, Jordan. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers our website (sitepal.tech), the customer dashboard, and the chat widget our customers install on their websites.
Data we collect
- Account data. When you sign up: your email address and password (stored by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see your password), your website address, and the business details you provide during onboarding.
- Website content. To train your concierge we crawl the public pages of the website you give us and process any documents you upload (catalogs, price lists, policies). This content is used only to answer your visitors' questions.
- Conversations. Text chats and voice calls between a website's visitors and its concierge are transcribed and stored so the business owner can review them and so the concierge can keep context. Voice calls are processed by our conversation infrastructure provider (Retell AI).
- Leads and bookings. When a visitor chooses to leave contact details (name, email, phone, preferred time) through a concierge form, that information is stored for, and belongs to, the business that operates that website.
- Payments. Subscriptions are processed by PayPal. We never see or store card numbers; we store the subscription status and invoice history needed to run your account.
- Analytics. Our marketing site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic. The chat widget itself sets no advertising cookies and uses session storage only for basic function (e.g. remembering that a chat was opened).
How we use data
To provide the service: answering visitor questions from the business's own content, delivering captured leads to the business owner, metering voice minutes, preventing abuse (rate limits, bot checks via reCAPTCHA), and billing. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your business content or your visitors' conversations to train models for anyone else.
Processors we rely on
Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication), Retell AI (voice and chat AI infrastructure), PayPal (payments), Google Analytics (site analytics), and reCAPTCHA (bot protection). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
Retention and deletion
Account and business data are kept while your subscription is active. You can delete FAQs, documents and knowledge at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and all associated data, or to request a copy of your data, email us and we will complete the request within 30 days.
Visitors of our customers' websites
If you chatted with a concierge on a business's website, that business is the controller of your conversation and any contact details you left. Contact the business directly, or email us and we will help route your request.
